The MOK Advocacy Society provides students with a platform to develop persuasive speaking and structured argumentation skills essential for a successful legal career. Members refine their advocacy abilities through practice sessions, debates and competitive events that simulate real world legal arguments. The society also organises workshops and competitions where students present and defend positions on legal and public issues, helping them gain confidence, clarity of thought and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
What drives us forward and what we aspire to become
To enhance persuasive speaking and structured argumentation through debates, workshops and public speaking initiatives.
To nurture articulate and confident leaders who are not only skilled advocates within the legal field but also active voices in wider social, political, and intellectual debates. The Society envisions empowering students with the ability to express ideas with clarity, while challenge perspectives with conviction, and contribute meaningfully to the development of law, justice, and society at large.
